Seattle Stay & Alaska Cruise

2 NIGHTS Seattle • 7 NIGHT Cruise

While there are many great looking buildings in the Seattle skyline, the centrepiece is without a doubt the iconic Space Needle, which was built in 1962. Standing 605 feet tall and with a 138 foot flying saucer-shaped halo, the Space Needle houses a world famous restaurant called SkyCity, where foodies can dine in luxury as the halo gently rotates, allowing diners to see the entire city regardless of where they find themselves sitting in the restaurant. The Space Needle also displays a powerful beam of light known as the Skybeam Legacy of Light. Due to concerns in relation to light pollution though, use of the Skybeam is restricted to special occasions and national holidays, such as the Fourth of July or September 11th. Typically, the Skybeam is only tuned on about a dozen times per year, so would be visitors will need to plan their trips to Seattle very carefully in order to ensure that they will be able to see this magnificent spectacle for themselves.

Celebrity Solstice is one of the more decorated ships at sea. So it’s no wonder that it’s full of “firsts.” Like the first Lawn Club at sea. The first Hot Glass Show. Some other things that set the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship apart are its specialty restaurants. Celebrities passion for outstanding cuisine has taken the restaurants, the food and the overall dining experience to a whole new level in the cruising world. But staterooms and specialty restaurants are only part of this ship’s charm. Celebrity Solstice is rich in luxurious design and exciting new experiences. Sail to Alaska aboard a ship that is a destination in itself. Embrace your competitive side with a range of games in the sunshine. When your appetite is well and truly worked up, head to one of the specialty restaurants. At Silk Harvest, go on a culinary journey through the authentic flavours of Asia in a friendly and laidback atmosphere. Finish the perfect day with a delicious cocktail in one of the sophisticated bars.
