Enjoy getting back to nature on a refreshing meander through America’s National Parks on this Grand American Adventure tour.
You’ll set off on your tour from Las Vegas through the Mojave Desert and into Utah to Zion National Park. Take the opportunity to stretch your legs exploring some of the shorter trails or challenge yourself and take on the tails to Angels Landing where you will be rewarded with breath-taking 360-degrees views. Continue on to Bryce Canyon and hike along the Navajo Loop Trails surrounded by fiery orange coloured spire pinnacles and hoodoos.
Your tour continues to Arches National Park which offers leisurely and moderate hikes through spectacular sandstone landscapes. In summer you can float on the nearby Colorado River and in winter you can enjoy the charms of Moab, the adventure capital of the Southwest taking in the iconic views of Canyonlands National Park before continuing on to Monument Valley for a spectacular backcountry hiking and 4×4 tour. Your local Navajo guide will lead you deep into the heart of the valley visiting sights which travellers rarely see.
From Monument Valley the tour carries on to Grand Canyon National Park where you can hike the rim trail and later follow the twisting trails down into the belly of the canyon to discover the secrets that rest below the rim. An early morning visit for sunrise offers magnificent views. Then it’s back on the road and onto the ‘Mother Road, Route 66 back to Las Vegas where the tour ends.

This morning you drive through the Mojave Desert and into Utah where the true grandeur of Zion National Park is revealed. There’s an assortment of shorter walks available here to warm up or you can challenge yourself on the switchback trail to Angels Landing with breath-taking 360 degree views

Observe the obscure rock formations of Capitol Reef National Park before arriving at Arches National Park. Arches offers leisurely and moderate hikes through spectacular sandstone landscapes, including the famous Delicate Arch. In summer, float on the nearby Colorado River and in winter enjoy the charms of Moab, the adventure capital of the Southwest. Head to Dead Horse Point State Park for iconic views of Canyonlands National Park and the Colorado River.
Set out on a spectacular backcountry hiking and 4x4 tour (van in winter) of the incomparable Monument Valley. Your local Navajo guide will lead you deep into the heart of the valley visiting sights which travellers rarely see. Its only when you’re in the backcountry that you can truly admire the size of the towering buttes and mesas.
Contemplate the Grand Canyon’s staggering dimensions as you hike the rim trail and later follow the twisting trails down into the belly of the canyon to discover the secrets that rest below the rim. An early morning visit for sunrise offers magnificent views and you will have the canyon to yourself. For a different perspective take to the skies on an optional helicopter flight.
Depart the Grand Canyon area and begin your journey back to Las Vegas stopping in Seligman on historic Route 66 before finishing with a drive along the Las Vegas Strip.
