New York…New York…the city that never sleeps! There is nothing like experiencing the New York City first hand and March is the perfect time for a holiday to The Big Apple.
New York City has so much to offer visitors, there is always something to see or do. Spend the day marvelling at artistic masterpieces at The Met and Guggenheim Museums. Visit Ellis Island and discover the history of America’s immigrants who flocked from the four corners of the globe to make a fresh start in the new world. Take the elevator to the top of the Empire State Building for breath-taking views over the city, alternatively visit the Observatory at the top of the One World Centre downtown in the financial district for a different perspective on the city’s skyline.
Many of New York’s most famous visitor attractions are very familiar to us but nothing compares to seeing them first hand. Take the Staten Island Ferry and sail past Liberty Island. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close is a very different experience to seeing it on TV. Stroll through the cobbled streets of the West Village, where the NYC street grid is suspended and bohemian culture, art, music and funky restaurants thrive. Take in as much of the Big Apple as you can!
New York - Every year Macy's rings in spring with flowers, mixing traditional arrangements inside and outside the store with au courant floral inspiration from experts at special lectures and demonstrations.
