Visit two of America’s most famous cities on this incredible holiday. You’ll start in New York to experience the city that never sleeps before travelling to the stunning waterfront city of San Francisco.
Many of New York’s most famous visitor attractions are very familiar to us but nothing compares to seeing them first hand. Take the Staten Island Ferry and sail past Liberty Island. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close is a very different experience to seeing it on TV. Stroll through the cobbled streets of the West Village, where the NYC street grid is suspended and bohemian culture, art, music and funky restaurants thrive. New York has so much to offer, there is always something to see or do. Enjoy as much as you can before it’s time to head to Boston. You can fly or take the train and take in views of the New England coastline.
San Francisco, a city famous for its steep hills and old-style cable cars. Take a stroll around Fisherman’s Wharf, known for its shops, restaurants and waterfront setting, then head to Union Square, the 2.6-acre public plaza in downtown San Francisco, for more dining and shopping options. The ferry ride to Alcatraz Island from Pier 33 is a great opportunity to see the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Once you arrive, discover the fascinating history of Alcatraz and how it has evolved to become a US National Park.
New York-Eat a bagel at H&H Bagel (Broadway & West 80th Street). Best Bagels in NYC.
