San Francisco – The world famous Mavericks surfing contest is held just south of Half Moon Bay, about 1 hour outside of SF, every year. You can watch the incredible athletes who surf these 50 foot waves. The contest is held with only 24 hours’ notice depending on ocean conditions. It is a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Las Vegas- If you are going to see a show, see ABSINTHE at Caesars. It is absolutely amazing! For a great restaurant, the Venetian has a place called Grand Lux Cafe. It offers everything and it’s delicious.

Las Vegas – For all of the shoppers out there, try the premium outlet North, which has about 150 shops all under cover. North is located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, directly off I-15 at Charleston Blvd.

New York-Don’t be afraid to use the subway when shopping time is short – it’s so easy and fast to get around the city. (USD2.90 per trip) Taxi’s are great too but just the traffic can be a bit crazy sometimes.

New York – If you are looking for a great breakfast in NYC, cafes can be hard to come by. Check out Penelope, in 159 Lexington Avenue, they have a great breakfast menu including waffles, French toast and amazing buttermilk pancakes! You will certainly be filled up for a day in the Big Apple after visiting here.
