Grand Canyon All American Helicopter Tour

Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour

Las Vegas is the perfect base for discovering some of Nevada and Arizona’s natural beauty. The city is the departure point for lots of fascinating day trips. An opportunity to visit one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, The Grand Canyon, is not to be missed. It’s one of the most popular day tours from Las Vegas. We recommend that you see the Grand Canyon by helicopter if you can. A helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon takes about four hours from the time you leave your hotel to the time you return.

Your Grand Canyon helicopter tour starts with a pickup from your hotel; you’ll then be taken to the helicopter base where you will be briefed on your mode of transport for the day and what to expect from the experience.

Hoover Dam and Lake Mead

On your way to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon you’ll pass by the Hoover Dam. Take in the incredible feat of engineering that divides the states of Nevada and Arizona. You’ll then pass over the popular scenic area of Lake Mead. Lake Mead is a designated recreational area under the management of the US National Parks Service. The Lake itself is a reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam, it’s the largest in America and is a popular destination for water sports and camping.

Grand Canyon

Next, you’ll land at the Grand Canyon itself. Here you will enjoy a picnic lunch and a glass of champagne while soaking up the incredible scenery. Take in the unforgettable views of the canyon and the mighty Colorado River that runs through the canyon floor. You’ll have about half an hour at the canyon, plenty of time to admire the views, enjoy your champagne and take some photos to capture the moment. You’ll finish the tour with a low-level flight over the famous Las Vegas Strip before returning to base and being transported back to your hotel.
