Your holiday begins in Calgary from where you embark on your first full day of touring the Rocky Mountains including a Panoramic Helicopter tour over the soaring peaks of the Rockies before finishing the day in Lake Louise.Begin the next day with free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Lake Louise before beginning a half day tour which ends in Banff.
The highlight of your time in Banff will be a 3 hour ice explorer (sometimes described as ‘monster truck meets glacier’) tour to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geographical features.
The next stop is Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a scenic half-day tour of some of the park’s natural attractions and rugged peaks, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the wildlife that calls this region home.
Time to board the Rocky Mountaineer and travel from Jasper to Vancouver on a journey surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley.
This trip blends breathtaking adventure with plenty of time to relay and take in the Canadian Rockies on your own. You begin in the coastal city of Vancouver before being whisked away in luxury onboard the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer for two days of all-daylight rail travel through Canada’s West and the Rocky Mountains.
You arrive in the beautiful town of Jasper for a two-night stay and a chance to experience Jasper National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Canadian Rockies largest national park. You then travel along one of North America’s most scenic highways – The Icefields Parkway to Lake Louise where you stay for two nights. On your journey to Lake Louise a stop will be made at the Columbia Icefields where you will ride the Ice Explorer to the Middle of the Athabasca Glacier. You end your visit to the Rockies in Banff with a two-night stay. Enjoy an unforgettable helicopter tour before ending in Calgary, Alberta’s Stampede city.

Depart Calgary for a full-day tour ending in Lake Louise. Journey to Kananaskis for a Panoramic Helicopter Tour. Continue to Banff for a sightseeing tour. Your tour ends in Lake Louise.

Day 3 Lake Louise to Banff
This morning explore beautiful Lake Louise on your own. After lunch, a half-day tour takes you into Yoho National Park. Afterwards, you will return to Banff.
Overnight in Banff at the Banff Caribou Lodge.
Day 4 Banff to Jasper
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Banff and Jasper National Parks via Lake Louise and the Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls. Arrive Jasper in the afternoon.

Day 5 Jasper
Jasper National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Canadian Rockies’ largest national park. Enjoy a scenic half-day tour of some of the park’s natural attractions and rugged peaks.

Day 6 Jasper to Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops. Today’s highlights include Pyramid Falls and the journey along the North Thompson River.

Your journey continues to the city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment, through winding river canyons and pristine forests.
