San Francisco & Seattle

4 NIGHTS San Francsico • 4 NIGHTS Seattle

The beautiful coastal cities of San Francisco in California and Seattle in Washington gives you a flavour of the best of what these wonderful West Coast States have to offer.

Your first stop on your West Coast holiday is the waterfront city of San Francisco, famous for its steep hills and old-style cable cars. Take a cable car from Fisherman’s Wharf, known for its shops, restaurants and waterfront setting to Union Square the 2.6-acre public plaza in downtown San Francisco. Visit Alcatraz Island, and discover it’s fascinating history of how it has evolved to become a US National Park with an excellent self-guided audio tour. The ferry ride over is also a great opportunity to see the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

Then it’s on to the state of Washington and a stay in the beautiful city of Seattle the gateway to the Pacific Northwest. Washington State is the perfect destination for exciting urban outings, world-class dining, award winning wine country and breath taking outdoor adventures. Seattle is your perfect home base in which to find you’re Northwest Adventure, whether that is enjoying the downtown amenities of this beautiful waterfront city or venturing further afield to discover the landscapes of Olympic National Park or Mt. Rainer National Park. The San Juan Islands are on your doorstep and are very accessible by Ferry from the cruise port. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit and savour the excellent food that you will find in Pike Market – an icon in the Waterfront area. Get a bird’s eye view of the city from Space Needle where you can enjoy dinner and watch the sunset.

Seattle features a crazy underground tour which was the original downtown area going back to the 1800’s – the weird and wonderful!
