Best Times To Travel

Winter in Orlando is mild and dry, with weather ranging from 10°C to 24°C. Crowds are smaller after the Christmas rush, making it ideal for exploring theme parks without the long waits. Don’t miss out on events like the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts at Disney World, a celebration of culinary, visual and performing arts.

Spring brings warm and pleasant weather, with temperatures between 15°C and 28°C. While March is relatively dry, April marks the start of the rainy season, so pack a light rain jacket. This is a great time to visit for Spring Break festivities and the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, where stunning flower displays take centre stage.

Early summer sees temperatures rise to 21°C – 33°C, with increased humidity and afternoon thunderstorms. Despite the rain, it’s a popular time to visit, with events like the Star Wars Weekend taking place. Arrive early at parks to beat the heat and the occasional showers.

Peak summer is hot and humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C and frequent afternoon storms. While crowds are high, it’s a great time for water parks like Typhoon Lagoon and Volcano Bay. Fourth of July celebrations and events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (starting in August) make it worth braving the heat.

Autumn brings slightly cooler temperatures and fewer crowds, but it’s still part of hurricane season. It’s a great time to travel for Halloween events such as Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Pack for warm days, cooler evenings and rain.

The festive season in Orlando is magical, with temperatures cooling off to 12°C to 26°C. Enjoy Christmas events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, EPCOT International Festival of Holidays and dazzling decorations all over the parks. While crowds peak in December, the cheerful atmosphere and cooler weather make it the perfect time to visit.
