A Disney Cruise brings the magic of Disney to life like never before! Imagine sailing to tropical destinations while enjoying Broadway-style shows, dining with your favourite characters, and taking part in epic water adventures.
We’ve put together an all-in-one guide to all things Disney Cruise Line. Read on to find out more.
What Does a Disney Cruise Look Like?
A Disney Cruise combines the excitement of Disney with a classic cruise holiday. The ships themselves are designed with families in mind, featuring a blend of whimsical Disney charm and extensive amenities. Onboard, you’ll find character meet-and-greets, Broadway-style performances, themed dining rooms, and pools with giant movie screens overhead. There’s something for every member of the family to enjoy, from kids’ clubs filled with activities to adults-only spaces like quiet lounges and relaxing spas.
“It’s impossible to not be happy all day long onboard a Disney Cruise, there is just something for all the family to enjoy.
Astrid Bell, Cruise Product Manager at American Holidays
Do Disney Cruises Have Formal Nights?
On 3 or 4-night cruises, there’s no official formal night, but you can still dress up for an “optional dress-up night” and enjoy a fancier dinner. On longer cruises, you’ll get a full-on formal and semi-formal night, so there’s plenty of opportunity to shine!
Do Disney Cruises Have Drink Packages?
Disney Cruise Line does not offer traditional drink packages like other cruise lines, which typically provide unlimited drinks for a set price. However, they do offer a selection of beverage packages, especially for adults, that can help you save on drinks during your cruise.
For example, there are wine or beer packages that allow you to pre-purchase a set number of drinks at a discounted rate. Additionally, Disney Cruise Line allows guests to bring a limited amount of wine and beer onboard for consumption in their stateroom.
