Las Vegas is a one-of-a-kind city and has to be experienced to fully comprehend how amazing it really is. From the splendor of the magnificent casinos and hotels to the natural wonder that is the Grand Canyon, Vegas has so much to offer that your first visit will probably not be your last.

Try your luck at the blackjack tables or check out one of the superstar’s shows, find out the role the Mafia played in the creation of the city with a visit to the Mob Museum or take a stroll and watch the famous Bellagio Fountains in action.

Aside from all the well-known attractions there are also plenty of lesser known ways to have fun in Vegas. There is the Dig This Experience which gives you the chance to drive bulldozers and diggers or see the sparkling city from a different view with a nighttime skydive.

There is the Red Rock Canyon for the outdoor lovers or many top boxing events for the sports fan or if relaxation is what your after then why not chill out by the pool and soak up the sun.

Staff Review

“Everyone knows that Las Vegas is famous for gambling and quickie weddings (thank you, Britney!) but it really has a little bit of everything for everyone.
There are many free shows on offer outside Las Vegas’ many hotels, but there's only one worth going to: the Bellagio fountains. Performing every half-hour between 3 pm and 8 pm, and every 15 minutes from 8pm 'til midnight, this is the show to see.
If you make it too bed in Vegas (a rare occurrence) then my top tip for the morning is the Breakfast Buffet at the Wynn – go and you will understand. Be sure to book your table at your club of choice. Avoid queuing for hours by buying a ‘skip the line’ pass, which is always excellent value for money – the club de jour at the moment is LAX in the Luxor but in Vegas that can change by the morning! Combine this with a trip to Orlando, Florida and experience all the thrill of the theme parks and water parks for the ultimate action packed fun holiday. ”

Orlando Tips

  • Bring your own poncho if you don't like getting soaked on water rides. You can find them for less than $1 at stores like Wal-Mart. They often cost $8 in the park. Plus you don't feel obligated to have to carry them around when you are done with them.
  • Staying at a Universal Orlando® Resort on-site hotel has many perks including convenience of location, and great atmosphere.

Las Vegas
  • For all of the night owls, I recommend the Cosmopolitan.  Great places to eat and The Marquee is the best day and night club.  The pool is amazing.  STK is a great start for the evening, a new style Las Vegas steakhouse from The One Group and Executive Chef Stephen Hopcraft.
