A large outdoor deck area is home to a fantastic 50-foot pool, which offers great views over the city and the harbour below.

Guests are also welcome to use the Hotels fitness facilities with its extensive range of gym equipment.
For those who prefer to stay dry, on the third floor you will find a large garden full of colourful flowers and herbs for you to explore.

The Fairmount Hotel boasts 489 elegantly decorated guestrooms.
Each room has been designed with floor-to-ceiling windows maximising the panoramic views over the harbour and city.
There are 13 rooms available for guests requiring additional accessibility.

Dining


Guests will find their taste buds are tantalised with every bite at the Herons Restaurant.
Asian-influenced Pacific Northwest cuisine is served through a carefully designed menu.
Dishes are flavoured using fresh herbs from the hotel’s herb garden.
The Herons Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner as well as being the place to find the scrumptious buffet and a la carte breakfasts.
For those guests requiring only a light bite the Herons Lounge Bar serves small meals and snacks in the lobby lounge.
You will also find live piano music played here every weekend.

Recreation


Guests are welcome to use the well equipped hotel fitness centre which includes a wide range of equipment including, free weights, multi-gym, rowing machines, stationary bikes, stair climbers and treadmills.
Once you have enjoyed a workout in the gym you do not have far to go to relax those muscles in the Hotel’s spa and steam rooms.
A Kinesiologist and massage therapist are available by appointment to help ease any aches and pains and relax those muscles further.
For guests wishing to exercise outside, the Hotel boasts an outdoor pool with decking area and a twice-weekly running group.
Stanley Park, with its 1,000 acres of beautiful green space is located only one mile away.
A paved pathway will lead you directly there were you will find tennis courts, biking and hiking trails.
For those wishing to relax in the sun, Stanley Park also offers a beach area and a pitch and putt golf course to keep you entertained.

The Fairmont Hotel boasts a beautiful and affectionate four-legged employee, by the name of Morgan.
A gentle black Labrador retriever, Morgan works from 8:30 am to 5:30pm on weekdays greeting guests and accompanying them on walks through the city.
Morgan is available for strolling or playing for most of the day except for feeding and nap times.
Guests should book with reception if they wish to spend time with Morgan and will be provided with a puppy pack containing treats, water and plastic bag for the occasion.

Whilst the hotel itself offers great views of the harbour and the city, guests are also able, for an additional charge, to take a helicopter tour of the harbour and mountains of the North Shore.
The Helijet helicopter terminal is located less than half a mile a way from the Hotel and provides a range of scenic flights lasting from 8 to 45 minutes.
