3 NIGHTS Vancouver • 7 NIGHT Cruise • 4 NIGHTS Whistler
Have you always dreamt of taking an Alaskan cruise? American Holidays has packaged together a fantastic 2021 Alaska cruise which includes stays in Vancouver along with a 7 night cruise onboard Celebrity Eclipse. Your holiday will end with 4 nights in Whistler, in the village of Creekside, along the shores of a beautiful, glacier-fed lake.
Begin your cruise and stay holiday in Vancouver. At the foot of the dazzling Coast Mountains and surrounded by the glimmering waterways, Vancouver is one of the world’s most fortunately situated cities. You will be stuck by the natural beauty visible even from the downtown core. Did you know that Vancouver’s sandy beaches earned the city a spot among National Geographic magazine’s ‘Top 10 Beach Cities’? Vancouver may be a sophisticated, metropolitan area, but the locals are friendly and laid-back and love the beaches and mountains as the city scene.
Soak up as much of the city as you can before you embark on your Alaska cruise on board Celebrity Cruises Celebrity Eclipse, one of the more decorated ships at sea. Set sail from Vancouver and make your way to Alaska’s Inside Passage, home to some of the most breathtaking scenery on earth, where 3000ft of mountain peaks meet the ocean around you. Watch out for the fantastic wildlife and stunning natural wildflowers. Travel on through Icy Strait point (watching out for whales!) towards Hubbard Glacier, the largest calving glacier on the North American continent.
At your next stop, Juneau you’ll have the chance to take a glacial dogsled adventure via helicopter in Alaska’s capital. You’ll continue to Ketchikan known as the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’. If you’re up for an adventure, take a canoe and nature trail excursion through the rain forest or a wilderness exploration. You’ll then sail back down through the Alaska Inside Passage back to Vancouver.
Your holiday will end with 4 nights in Whistler, staying in the fantastic 5* Fairmont Chateau, a luxurious property nestled at the base of the spectacular Blackcomb Mountain affording superb views.
