Your trip begins with 4 nights in the fabulous city of Las Vegas, a holiday destination like no other! Discover all that the famous Las Vegas strip has to offer, from extravagant hotels and casinos, to show stopping entertainment, world class restaurants and an exciting buzz you won’t find anywhere else on earth! Las Vegas is also a great place from which to visit some of the stunning natural wonders including the iconic Grand Canyon and the remarkable Hoover Dam.
From Vegas, you’ll head to Moab where you’ll have a couple of days to explore this region at your leisure before joining your Rocky Mountaineer tour group. You’ll board this fabulous train in Moab and embark on the Rockies to the Red Rock tour, travelling between Moab and Denver, with extraordinary landscapes including vast canyons, natural archways and enchanting hoodoos. The journey is filled with highlights best seen by train and includes overnight stays in Moab, Glenwood Springs and Denver.
On arrival in Denver you’ll say goodbye to the Rocky Mountaineer and have 3 days to explore the city yourself before picking up a hire car again and taking a 90minute drive north to Rocky Mountain National Park for the final couple of days of your holiday where you can visit the Rockies and experience mountain climbing, hiking, camping, fishing, and breathtaking views of jagged peaks, glaciers, and high-mountain lakes.

Day 1-4 Las Vegas Stay
Fly to Las Vegas where the Strip awaits for you to explore. Discover opulent casinos, the dazzling entertainment on offer, the fantastic shopping malls and the excitement and buzz of this incredible city! Las Vegas is also a great base from which to explore some amazing nearby natural attractions, including the jaw dropping Grand Canyon and the iconic Hoover Dam.
On your last day in Las Vegas you'll pick up your rental car and drive to Moab.
Day 5-6 Moab
Arrive in Moab and check into your hotel. You have two days here at your leisure to explore the gateway to the Canyonlands and Arches National Parks.
Day 7 Rocky Mountaineer Tour begins: Moab - Glenwood Springs
Depart Moab in the afternoon and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. You'll cross the Utah-Colorado border with stunning mountain views in the background before arriving in the resort town of Glenwood Springs. Overnight in Glenwood Springs.
Day 8 Rocky Mountaineer Tour: Glenwood Springs to Denver
Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Take in the spectacular views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before crossing the Continental Divide. Soon, you'll reach the vibrant city of Denver. Overnight in Denver.
Day 9-11 Denver Stay
Your Rocky Mountaineer tour comes to an and you now have 3 days to explore Denver at your leisure. Be sure to discover the wonders on display at the Denver Art Museum, immerse yourself in the beauty of Denver Botanic Gardens and visit Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the ever-so-dramatic sweep of its rugged sandstone formations has made it a beloved venue for concerts of all stripes and the 868-acre park also offers up plenty of hiking trails to explore.
On your last day in Denver, you'll pick up your rental car for the drive to the Rocky Mountains National Park, a short 90 minutes away.
Day 12-13 Rocky Mountains National Park
Finish your holiday in style spending two days exploring the vast Rocky Mountains National Park. Visit the Rockies and experience mountain climbing, hiking, camping, fishing, and breathtaking views of jagged peaks, glaciers, and high-mountain lakes.
On your last day you will return to Denver in your rental car from where you will fly home.
