Heading to the Gulf Coast to Corpus Christi known as the Playground of Texas. While it’s the fifth largest port city in the Country it has many pockets of small town charm. Be sure to check out Snoopy’s Pier, a casual waterfront eatery that’s good for seafood. San Antonio is home to the “Alamo” and is its most recognized landmark, a must see for any visitor. Known as the Venice of Texas with its charming waterways, a great way to see the city is to enjoy one of its dinner barge cruises.

Fort Worth is known as a city of Cowboys and Culture with its western heritage and colourful history. Enjoy the year round Rodeo, a great family night out or visit the entertainment district where you can enjoy its western heritage, world class art, shopping and nightlife.

  • Discover Houston’s past in Heritage Park amid the skyscrapers of downtown. Visit the Johnson Space Centre for a fascinating history of America’s love affair with outer space.

  • Take a short drive to the island of Galveston, filled with Victorian architecture. Then head for Corpus Christi, known as Texas’s playground.

  • See the open range and farmland of early settlers on the way to San Antonio. San Antonio’s unique blend of cultures makes it one of the most charming cities in the U.S. Your hotel for the next two nights is in the heart of San Antonio within easy reach of the major sites.

  • Stroll along the River Walk or visit El Mercado. Remember the Alamo and visit the site of the courageous battle between a handful of Texans and Santa Ana’s vast army, which was instrumental in creating the Republic of Texas.

  • The rolling hill country was the site of early settlements in mid-Texas. The code of the West rules here as you travel through Pecos County where giants and legends, such as Pecos Bill, are made. Overnight in Fort Stockton.

  • The city of El Paso is located close to the U.S./Mexico order giving a flavour of the best the two worlds have to offer. El Paso’s climate, typical of the desert southwest, and its mix of cultures and traditions makes the Sun City a unique and interesting place to visit.

  • Leave El Paso and cross into New Mexico. Between the mountains and themes as runs a river, and astride it stands a city that embodies the diversity of cultures that are uniquely American. It is Albuquerque.

  • Albuquerque a city full of exciting attractions and events, from Historic Old Town, to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, the most popular ballooning event in the world.

  • Continue eastward to the panhandle of Texas towards Amarillo which was once a railhead town for cattle shipments to the north. The cattle industry remains an important element of the city’s economy. Amarillo is well known for its Cadillac graveyard.

  • Drive eastward today to Palo Duro Canyon and see artefacts of Pre-Pueblo inhabitants. Then continue south towards Fort Worth. The City of Cowboys and Culture is the 16th-largest city in the United States and offers visitors rich Western history, world-class art and entertainment.

  • Return your rental car at DFW airport before your departure flight or you have the option to extend your stay and explore distinct dining, shopping and world-class museums in the “Cultural Capital of
