If it’s a cruise that blends R & R with fun and adventure you are looking for then Royal Caribbean Cruises’ Explorer of the Seas is just the ship for you. You can master your balance on the ice-skating and in-line skating rink and track or pick up a game at the basketball court. Or for a more relaxed cruise holiday let yourself be pampered at the Day Spa or unwind and soak in the view at the adults-only solarium. Take a stroll down the Royal Promenade, sample the atmosphere and check out some of the great shops, restaurants and cafes. Or you can spin the wheel at the Casino Royale and enjoy a drink at one of the bars or lounges. And when it comes time to eat there are some great options. You can get an old-school burger and shake at the retro Johnny Rockets, grab a sandwich and coffee day or night at the Café Promenade or indulge your sweet tooth at the Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop.
We always spend our time in the pool! Let the kids have some seaside fun at the Adventure Beach family area (they’ll love the slide), or challenge them to a bit of healthy competition in a round of mini golf.
I love to stay active on board, so if you need to walk the length of the ship, and you find the Promenade too packed (70's dance party, parades, etc), go down one deck to deck 4, and walk around the outside of the ship.
