For a cruise and stay holiday with a difference we’ve put together a package that combines stays in two of Texas’ most famous cities, Dallas and Houston, with a 5 night Caribbean cruise in the Gulf of Mexico and a city break in Chicago to round it all off!
Fly direct from Dublin to Dallas with American Airlines and kick off your holiday in the heart of Texas. Spend three nights in Dallas followed by two nights in Houston and experience the best that this mighty state has to offer.
You’ll then depart on your cruise holiday around the Gulf of Mexico embarking from Galveston in Texas. On your cruise you’ll visit the seaside retreat of Yucatan with its white-sand beaches, emerald green waters and cooling gulf breezes. You’ll also visit Cozumel, home to Palancar Reef, a famous diving spot. You’ll then sail back through the warm Gulf waters to Galveston.
Your cruise may be over but your holiday isn’t! You’ll spend your last two nights in Chicago, the Windy City, on the stunning shores of Lake Michigan. It boasts a wealth of museums and galleries with The Field Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago both well worth a look. It is hard to think of Chicago without picturing prohibition-era speakeasies and machine gun-totting gangsters and you can learn more about both on the Untouchables Tour.
Tips from our Texas expert
