Day 3
Mahogany Bay

Arrival: at 10:00
Departure: at 19:00

Cruise to Mahogany Bay and you’ll feel like you won the island lottery. With silky-sand beaches and diamond-clear seas, the island of Roatan is one of the Caribbean’s hidden gems. And there’s no better way to experience this natural paradise than on a cruise to Honduras. The largest of Honduras’s Bay Islands is a real beauty, built on a backbone of volcanic rock and ringed by the world’s second largest coral reef. Carnival cruises to Roatan promise superb diving and fishing, plus totally swoon-worthy beaches. The lush landscape of the wildlife reserves and pristine marine parkland of Roatan awaits you on your cruise to Mahogany Bay in Honduras.

Day 5
Cozumel, Mexico

Arrival: at 08:00
Departure: at 16:00

Cozumel is proof that Mexico can do ‘island flavor’ with the best of the Caribbean. It may not be the biggest island in the sea, but Cozumel offers a huge variety of things to do, see, taste and explore. This island just happens to be perched atop a coral reef, which promises hours of snorkeling or scuba diving fun. Cruises to Cozumel dock at the island’s heart — just minutes from San Miguel’s seafront shops and the white sand beach at Chankanaab National Park. Drift among star corals and sea fans on a Cozumel diving excursion or simply kick back on the beach beneath your own palm palapa as the turquoise waves roll in. With non-stop zip line action, ancient discoveries at the nearby Mayan ruins, or time spent with your toes in the sand, a cruise to Cozumel may just top your best vacations list… before you even get home.

Carnival Celebration

When we talk about our new ship, Carnival Celebration, both words matter. Carnival suggests an amazing vacation every time, and Celebration… wow, there’s just so much there to smile about! First off is a nod back to the original MS Celebration, a true cruising classic. But there’s also all those amazing times to come! When the new ship sets sail from Miami in 2022, we’ll be marking Carnival’s 50th birthday year (born in ’72, baby) as a tribute to all the fun we’ve shared at sea. And that’s just the kick-off — you’re also pre-invited to so many years of fun on Carnival Celebration! We’re counting on guests like you to bring that unique spirit, but you can bet this ship’s gonna have the features to match your vacation expectations. Just like sister ship Mardi Gras, we’re building six “zones” into Carnival Celebration — themed areas that bring together incredible experiences and flavor. And as the second ship ever with BOLT— that’s our onboard rollercoaster — we’ll make sure it’s every bit as speedy and thrilling as the original. Carnival Celebration also marks the return of innovations like Bonsai Teppanyaki, RedFrog Tiki Bar, Family Feud Live, Havana Bar, Seuss at Sea, Playlist Productions and more. That right there ought to be enough fun for anybody, but there’s also so much more new stuff we’ll be revealing as construction happens.

Staff Tips

  • Astrid Bell

Explore the ship, plan your nights and learn where the restaurants are. It still amazes me how huge cruise ships are. It’s crazy! I think it’s a great idea to take a tour of the ship or go out exploring on your own, to learn where everything is.

  • Amanda O'Brien

For the first day of your cruise, pack a small carry-on bag with your travel documents, a change of clothes, swimsuit, exercise clothes and any medications you may need. That way you don't have to wait for your checked bags to arrive in your stateroom.

  • Kristin Skinner

Get to know the staff early in the cruise. They can give you some wonderful inside information regarding the ports of call, excursions, activities, and so on.

It’s always worth having a small amount of local currency for immediate expenses on arrival at your destination and for any purchases you make at your ports of call. We also recommend you carry a major credit or charge card (American Express®, MasterCard® or Visa®), or sufficient funds in U.S.$ travellers cheques which can be cashed on board.

There will be a laundry service on board all ships; the service is not “self service” and prices vary by garment type
