    Join a Local Specialist and start exploring Fort Worth, famous for its unmistakable mix of cowboys and Texan culture. Then visit the Sid Richardson Museum, featuring paintings depicting the American West. Stop for lunch on your own in Sundance Square. Next, stop at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, recognising excellence in competition, business and support of the western lifestyle. End your day with a traditional Fort Worth "Longhorn Cattle Drive," and meet with the cowboys before they take the cattle through the Stockyard Historic District. This evening, head for renowned Chef Tim Love's Lonesome Dove Western Bistro for a Regional Meal.

  • Day 3 Fort Worth - Dallas Sightseeing

    Discover the historical heart of downtown Dallas with a Local Specialist and hear fascinating tales surrounding the legends and mysteries of the area. View Pioneer Plaza, commemorating the trails that brought settlers to Dallas and cattle to market, the Historic West End and the infamous Dealey Plaza. Learn all about a moment in history at the 6th Floor Museum, the somber location from which Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated President John F. Kennedy in 1963. This afternoon, enjoy a nostalgic visit to Southfork Ranch, also known as Ewing Ranch, made famous by the hit TV series Dallas.

  • Day 4 Fort Worth - Graham

    Escape the city and discover the beauty of the Texan Range and North Hill Country at the Wildcatter Ranch Resort and Spa. The afternoon is free.   • Day 5 Graham - Waco - Austin (2 nights)

    Head south for Waco where you'll visit the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum to learn about the famed law enforcement agency. Later, arrive in Austin, Texas' state capital and a beautiful city located along the banks of the Colorado River

  • Day 6 Austin Sightseeing

    Meet your Local Specialist and enjoy a guided city tour of Austin. View the Governor's Mansion, Texas State University, and visit the pink granite Texas State Capitol. The afternoon is free to explore. This evening, enjoy an exclusive Be My Guest experience with true Texan hospitality while enjoying a typical barbecue feast.

  • Day 7 Austin - Fredericksburg - San Antonio Sightseeing (2 nights)

    Continue further into the south Texas plains with a stop at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Site. This evening, walk along the famous San Antonio River Walk, a delightful network of walkways along the banks of the river. Board a private barge and cruise the San Antonio River canals.

  • Day 8 San Antonio Sightseeing

    After breakfast, visit The Alamo, site of the famous, pivotal battle during the Texas Revolution. Then visit the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a Local Specialist. They will guide you through Mission San Jose, including a visit to the stately King William Historic District. Then stop at El Mercado for lunch on your own. See the San Fernando Cathedral, seat of the Archbishop and one of the oldest cathedrals in the U.S. and explore King William Historic District. The rest of the day is free.

  • Day 9 San Antonio - Schulenburg - Houston Sightseeing

    Head to Houston, stopping in Schulenburg-home to some beautiful painted churches. Once in Houston, meet your Local Specialist for a guided tour including Minute Maid Park, home to the Houston Astros baseball team; Market Square Park, a historic square surrounded by 19th century buildings, the original courthouse and City Hall, the Theatre District and learn about the Houston tunnel system. This evening, meet your newfound friends for a "Farewell to Texas Dinner."

  • Day 10 Depart Houston or Dallas
