Visit the US Astronaut Hall of Fame, tour the launch control centre or train like an astronaut on the simulators inside the Space Shuttle Atlantis at the Kennedy Space Centre, just an hour from Orlando. Everglades National Park with its sawgrass marshes and mangroves is home to hundreds of animal species. These include the endangered manatee, American crocodile and the Florida panther.
