The tour begins in the “city the never sleeps”. Join your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception, drinks and dinner accompanied by a private violin recital performed by a student of the renowned Juilliard School and get to know your fellow travelling companions. The following day is yours to marvel at New York’s sights such as the iconic Empire State and Chrysler buildings and walk through some of Central Park’s gardens.

Having experienced all that New York has to offer venture towards New Port and travel along Ocean Drive lined with the Gilded Age mansions of America’s wealthiest families. Head on towards Boston where you will gain fascinating insight into the history of “Beantown” on an historical sightseeing tour. With several stops along Boston’s famed Freedom Trail, you’ll hear all about the struggle and courage of the American colonists during the revolutionary times.

Set out for Philadelphia, one of America’s first cities, founded by the Quakers to escape religious persecution and still known as the “City of Brotherly Love”. Enjoy an overnight at the Ritz Carlton and view Independence Hall, where America’s founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence July 4, 1766, and the giant cracked Liberty Bell.

  • Day 1 Take a bite of The Big Apple

    On arrival at JFK, Newark or La Guardia airports, you will be met and transferred to your luxurious hotel. At 18:00, join your Travelling Concierge for a Welcome Dinner with wine accompanied by a private violin recital performed by a student of the renowned Juilliard School.

  • Day 2 Exploring NYC

    (Relaxed Start) A Local Expert will lay bare the city highlights; marvel at New York's iconic Empire State and Chrysler buildings and walk through some of Central Park's gardens. Later, witness the hustle and bustle of Grand Central Station with a Local Expert. The rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 3 Vanderbilt's Newport & Boston

    Journey to historic Newport, Rhode Island. Travel along Ocean Drive, lined with the Gilded Age mansions of America's wealthiest families. Visit The Breakers, the grandest of Newport's summer 'cottages' and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family's preeminence during the turn of the century in the United States.

  • Day 4 Historic Boston

    (Relaxed Start) Gain a fascinating insight into the history of 'Beantown' during the morning's historical sightseeing tour. With several stops along Boston's famed Freedom Trail, you'll hear about the struggle and courage of the American colonists during revolutionary times. View the colourful neighbourhoods of Back Bay and North End. With a student guide, visit prestigious Harvard University, founded in 1636. In the evening, relax over a delicious Highlight Dinner with wine in the Long Wharf's oldest surviving structure and John Hancock's former counting house.

  • Day 5 Exploring the Streets of Philadelphia

  • Day 6 Monumental Washington DC

    (Relaxed Start) In the morning, view UNESCO listed Independence Hall, where America's founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, and see the cracked Liberty Bell before you set out for Washington, DC. In the evening, contemplate the dazzling lights of the city and gaze at the night sky on an illumination tour.

  • Day 7 Washington D.C. Sightseeing

    Experience an insightful visit to the historic National Building Museum before it's open to the public. View some of the capital's most famous landmarks. Contemplate and be inspired during your visit to the World War II and Lincoln memorials. Afterwards, enjoy an exclusive meeting with a former espionage agent.   • Day 8 Back to New York City

    In the morning, continue back to New York and transfer to JFK Airport, or to the New York tour hotel for guests wishing to extend their stay. Airport arrival will be at 14:30.
