New York & San Juan Stay + Southern Caribbean Cruise

3 NIGHTS New York • 2 NIGHTS San Juan • 7 NIGHT Cruise

Most of New York’s iconic attractions are very familiar to anyone who has ever seen a movie or watched television, but nothing compares to experiencing them first hand. Take a stroll through the West Village, relax in leafy Central Park, sail by Liberty Island on the Staten Island Ferry and take in the breath-taking views from the top of the Empire State Building. Visits to The Met and Times Square are also highly recommended. New York has so much to offer, there is always something to see or do in the city that never sleeps!

Having received a recent rejuvenation the Celebrity Summit offers its guests a cruise holiday that combines style, comfort and great amenities. Whether you choose to relax in the adults-only pool in the solarium, grab a beauty treatment in the Spa or work up a sweat with the assistance of a personal trainer in the fitness centre you will be highly satisfied with your choice. See if Lady Luck is on your side with a visit to Fortune’s Casino, spin the roulette wheel or play a hand of cards and enjoy the sophisticated ambience. Your options for dining on this cruise are easily on par with the rest of the facilities on this magnificent vessel. You can opt for the AquaSpa Café and enjoy healthy meals that taste delicious and are considerate to your waistline. Or try the Normandie Restaurant, designed after the classic cruise liner and containing some artifacts from the famous ship, and enjoy superb French cuisine in the unique surroundings. For some refreshments visit Martini Bar & Crush, grab a cocktail and check out the ice-topped bar. If you prefer a more intimate and refined vibe then Michael’s Club is perfect for you. Sample from the huge array of craft ales, international beers, whiskies and cognacs.

New York-Don't be afraid to use the subway when shopping time is short - it's so easy and fast to get around the city. (USD2.50 per trip) Taxi's are great too its just the traffic can be a bit crazy sometimes.

One of the largest islands in the Eastern Caribbean, Puerto Rico's landscape encompasses mountains, underground caves, coral reefs, white-sand beaches and an incredibly massive rain forest that supplies fresh water to most of the island. At the same time San Juan, the capital of the commonwealth, is a big city with a bustling business district, glitzy resorts and casinos, as well as one of the most stunning examples of colonial life in the Western world.

St. Croix, the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is a tropical dreamland complete with stunning beaches, clear aqua-blue ocean water, a small rain forest and rolling green hillsides. The Danes purchased St. Croix in the 1700s at which time the slave trade and sugar cane fields thrived. Today, the Danish influence is still apparent in the island's architecture and language. Most of the sugar mills lie in ruins. Yet you can still get a taste of the island's history in freshly squeezed sugar cane juice or Cruzan Rum.

When the Spanish closed their colonial fort on St. Maarten in 1648, a few Dutch and French soldiers hid on the island and decided to share it. Soon after, the Netherlands and France signed a formal agreement to split St. Maarten in half, as it is today. Philipsburg displays its Dutch heritage in its architecture and landscaping. The island offers endless stretches of beach, beautiful landscapes and great shopping.

From the moment you set your eyes on St. George's, you'll see why it's considered one of the most picturesque ports in the Caribbean. Lush vegetation, mountainous terrain and colorful colonial architecture make up the landscape. And if the sights don't wow your senses, the aroma will. Grenada is also filled with spice trees and is a leading source of many different spices, including nutmeg, cloves, ginger, cinnamon and cocoa.
