San Francisco, Las Vegas & Cancun

3 NIGHTS San Francisco • 4 NIGHTS Las Vegas • 5 NIGHTS Cancun

Your holiday starts in the waterfront city of San Francisco. Take a cable car from Fisherman’s Wharf, known for its shops, restaurants and waterfront setting to Union Square the 2.6-acre public plaza in downtown San Francisco. Visit Alcatraz Island, now a National Park and find out how it has evolved over the years with an excellent self-guided audio tour. The ferry ride over is also a great opportunity to see the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
Continue on to Las Vegas, Nevada. Try a hand at the blackjack table of the MGM Grand or roll the dice at a roulette table in The Venetian. Las Vegas offers so much to see and experience away from the casinos. Enjoy the world class entertainment of a Las Vegas show, whether it’s a concert, cabaret or comedy there is entertainment to suit all tastes. The city is the starting point for lots of great day trips, visit the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead National Recreation Area or The Hoover Dam, all well worth a visit and within easy day trip distance from Las Vegas.
Cancun is a Caribbean paradise; the powdery white sand and clear waters of Cancun’s beaches are picture perfect. Scuba divers and snorkelers flock to the region, which offers some of the best coral reef diving in the world. Cancun is also known for its vibrant and energetic nightlife, with a great selection clubs, bars and cocktail lounges to try out during your holiday.

Staff Tips

San Francisco-The Ferry Market was great! Lots of wonderful food and goodies to "graze." The Saturday farmer's market was also a treat, with wonderful fresh produce, flowers and food stands. Don't miss it.

Las Vegas-If you are into amusement parks there is a great one in Circus Circus. The top of the Stratosphere has a amazing view of Vegas. Also check out the water show in front of Bellagio, water/light show inside Sam’s Town and the volcano at Mirage. Just a tip - the water shows and volcano are best viewed at night.

Cancun-Make sure your snorkel or dive tour includes a visit to The Silent Evolution near Isla Mujeres. Mine only included a stop at The Gardener of Hope near Punta Nizuc, and while as nifty and as uplifting an experience that may sound, it’s not quite as impressive as the 400+ statues you’ll see near Isla Mujeres.
