Start your journey with a flight to Los Angeles. We'll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your central Hollywood hotel to start your western America escorted tour with a two night stay. Why not take the short stroll to Hollywood Boulevard for dinner and some people watching?

Take in Hollywood's star studded sights with our morning sightseeing tour. Then spend the afternoon exploring the rest of LA, including Rodeo Drive, Sunset Boulevard and Grauman's Chinese Theatre. You'll then have time to visit Hollywood Boulevard's Walk of Fame and have lunch at one of the many eateries.

Journey from LA through rural America to Scottsdale, Arizona. Set in the heart of the Valley of the Sun, Scottsdale has more than 300 days of sunshine a year. This evening, join our optional outing 'Taste of the West', where you'll enjoy a cowboy style dinner, live country music and panoramic views of the Phoenix area. Head to the Old Town for a real feel of the Old West.

Some of nature's most amazing creations are along our route today, so keep the camera handy for unique holiday pictures. You may even capture personal auras in Sedona - famed for the 'psychic cosmic energy' of its setting. From here to Flagstaff the 27 mile drive cuts through Oak Creek Canyon - with its Ponderosa forest and tall cliff wall of russet red and stark white. Our destination is the biggest natural attraction of them all - the Grand Canyon itself, and we arrive in ample time for you to enjoy the breathtaking view from the South Rim. Our overnight stay is in a lodge within the National Park, probably little more than 500 metres from the edge of the chasm.

Set your alarm clock if you want to watch the sun rising over the Canyon. Then leave Arizona's famous red canyon for somewhere completely different - the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada. Fancy a tour of neon-lit Vegas by night or a bird's eye view of the Strip on a helicopter ride? Just ask your tour director about our optional excursions.

Your day is at leisure in Las Vegas. See the whole world in a day with a stroll down Las Vegas's Strip past its unforgettable themed hotels. Where else in the world could you see the Roman Forum, Luxor's Pyramids and Venice canals all in one day?

See the dolphins at the Mirage hotel, visit the Paris hotel and ride the top of the eiffel tower and see the singers of St Marks Square at the Venetian.

Relax at your hotel in Las Vegas' year round sunshine, shop for kitsch souvenirs or take a final flutter in the casinos before transferring to the airport for your return flight to the Ireland.
