What is included in the Price?
All hotels on route are included in the price. The car rental price is not included as you can selected the type of car you wish to use at the time of booking. Flights are also not included as they vary from week to week.
Day 1 -- San Francisco Arrival
Arrive at San Francisco International Airport, pick up your car and proceed into the City by the Bay, beautiful San Francisco.

Day 2 -- San Francisco
This morning at 08:00 hours you will be met by your AmericanTours representative and provided with a welcome kit including driving instructions, vouchers, maps and brochures of the places you are about to visit. Then enjoy a wonderful day touring the city. See places like Union Square, The Presidio, Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf, where you can take a short boat trip to tour infamous Alcatraz island.

Day 3 -- San Francisco - Mendocino
Follow the coastline of California north to the charming village of Mendocino. The entire town is a Historic Preservation District on the National Register of Historic Places with a superb coastal setting.

Day 4 -- Mendocino - Redwood National Park
Pass former Russian fishing settlements as you drive north today. The magnificent giant redwoods are protected in state and national parks. Overnight in Crescent City, near Redwood National Park.

Day 5 -- Redwood National Park - Oregon Dunes - Portland
The dramatic, desolate coastline of Oregon has panoramic vistas and picturesque views for you to enjoy today. The peaceful drive through ever-changing terrain will take you through small towns which reflect the essence of Oregon.

Day 6 -- Portland - Mt. St. Helens - Mt. Rainier National Park - Seattle
Cross the Columbia River and enter the Evergreen State of Washington, known for its vast pine forests. A stop at the Mt. St. Helens Visitor Center will reveal the devastation of the 1980 eruption of this active volcano. Then continue to Mt. Rainier National Park, one of the outstanding scenic wonders of the Northwest. Arrive in Seattle in the evening.

A full day at leisure to explore Seattle. We suggest a visit to the Boeing factory in nearby Everett or simply enjoy the Space Needle and downtown’s shopping and dining.

Today discover some of the Emerald City’s many attractions. Then drive north to Vancouver, Canada’s spectacular western gateway. Enjoy this stunning picturesque city in the afternoon.

Day 9 -- Vancouver
A full day at leisure. We suggest a tour by ferry to the quaint provincial capital of Victoria on Vancouver Island. Visit famed Butchart Gardens and return to Vancouver in early evening.

Day 10 -- Vancouver - Kamloops
Leave Canada’s spectacular western gateway and follow the dramatic course of the Fraser and Thompson Rivers, the road clinging to sheer canyon walls with turbulent waters rushing below. Reach the rugged interior town of Kamloops late afternoon.

Day 11 -- Kamloops - Jasper National Park
Drive into the heart of the Canadian Rockies on the Yellowhead Highway to Jasper National Park. The park is a wildlife sanctuary full of majestic mountains and crystal lakes.

Day 21 -- Lake Tahoe - Sacramento - Wine Country - San Francisco
