What is included in the Price?
All hotels on route are included in the price. Car rental is also included. Flights are not included as they vary from week to week.
Day 1 > Los Angeles Arrival
Arrive in Los Angeles, home of Hollywood, Beverly Hills and palm tree-lined streets. Upon arrival at the airport transfer independently via hotel courtesy shuttle bus to your hotel.

Day 2 > Los Angeles - Las Vegas
This morning at 08:00 hours you will be met by your AmericanTours representative and provided with a welcome kit including driving instructions, vouchers, maps and brochures of the places you are about to visit. Pick up your car and begin your tour. First visit Calico, a western ghost town in the mountains of California. Then continue through the desert to the entertainment oasis, Las Vegas.

Day 3 > Las Vegas - Zion National Park - Bryce Canyon National Park
It’s a short drive to Zion National Park and some of the world’s most incredible sandstone formations formed millions of years ago by the powerful hand of nature. Drive by the Cedar Breaks National Monument, through the Dixie National Forest and on to Bryce Canyon National Park, where Pink Cliffs and natural arches await you. Take in all of Bryce Canyon’s natural wonders before arriving at your hotel.

Day 5 > Bryce Canyon National Park - Arches National Park - Moab
Early risers can catch the sunrise over Bryce Canyon before heading to Capitol Reef National Park, stopping by the Dead Horse Point on your way. Continue to Arches National Park, the world's largest concentration of natural stone arches. Overnight in Moab.

Day 6 > Moab - Canyonlands National Park - Mesa Verde National Park
Explore the 525 square-mile maze of rock formations in stunning Canyonlands National Park. Stop by the unique Hovenweep National Monument before continuing on to Mesa Verde National Park, home to the magical Indian cliff dwellings. Overnight in nearby Cortez.

Day 7 > Mesa Verde National Park - Monument Valley
As you begin your drive, pass Four Corners National Monument, the only point in America common to four states. Cross Navajo Country on your way to Monument Valley, the rugged, red-rocked Tribal Park that has been immortalized in countless western films.

Day 8 > Monument Valley - Page/Lake Powell
You have the opportunity to explore the region this morning, perhaps visiting Goosenecks State Park and Mexican Hat. Then head to the crystalline waters of Lake Powell.

Day 9 > Page/Lake Powell - Grand Canyon National Park
This morning we suggest an optional cruise to the Rainbow Bridge National Monument before driving on to the beautiful Kaibab National Forest and the incredible Grand Canyon National Park. A stroll along the rim of this amazing canyon will take your breath away.

Day 10 > Grand Canyon - Las Vegas
Today’s drive through Kingman, along a portion of historic Route 66, takes you to one of the world's greatest man-made structures, Hoover Dam. Continue to Las Vegas, the glittering Entertainment Capital of the World.

Day 11 > Las Vegas - Death Valley National Park
Depart for a drive across the Amargosa Desert to Death Valley National Park. At Zabriskie Point you can admire the panoramic view of the seemingly endless, unchanging valley. Continue to your hotel, a desert oasis complete with all the modern facilities of a resort. This is quite a change from less than 100 years ago, when the pioneers in their covered wagons found Death Valley a most inhospitable region.

Day 12 > Death Valley National Park - Tioga Pass - Yosemite National Park
Today offers a complete contrast in landscapes from the desolation of Death Valley as the drive takes you into the high Sierra Nevada Mountains via Bishop to the Tioga Pass and Yosemite, one of America’s most scenic national parks. Here among the pine trees cascade the silvery waters of Yosemite and Bridalveil Falls. Massive ice-shaped formations rise sharply from the valley floor in the sculptured beauty of El Capitan and Half Dome.
From early November to late May the Tioga Pass may be closed due to weather or road conditions. In which case you will need to drive the southern route through Bakersfield and Fresno into the Yosemite Area.

Day 13 > Yosemite National Park - San Francisco
Take a drive across California's fertile Central Valley to spectacular San Francisco: a city of hills, cable cars, and a beautiful bay. San Francisco, the Pacific Gateway to America, is noted for Chinatown, Japan Center, the Embarcadero and the Fisherman's Wharf. Other attractions are the Civic Center, the Cable Car Museum, the Zoo, the Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks Observatory, Union Square, Chinatown, Ghirardelli Square, and Nob Hill which hosts stunning Victorian houses.
