What to Expect:
Stepping into the lobby of the Disney Beach Club Resort guests will instantly recognise the nautical theme of the hotel, which is based on the seaside resorts of the Eastern Seaboard in the early 20th century. The lobby with its beautiful high ceilings, tiled floors and ornate wood furnishings provides a causal beachside welcome to the resort. The beach theme is followed on throughout with guestrooms tastefully decorated with white wicker furniture, and shades of salmon pink and pale green.


Amenity Highlights:
Water is a big feature of the Disney Beach Club resort, with a large swimming pool, marina and pontoon all designed to add to the enjoyment of the guests who stay. The centre piece however is the three-acre water park located by the lake at Stromalong Bay. Here guests will find an outdoor pool and waterslides for splashing around fun, as well as spa tubs and two quiet pools for those wanting a more relaxed pace. There is a white-sand beach, as well as the Sandcastle children’s club to keep the little ones entertained. Boat rentals are available at the resort marina for those wishing to explore the lake and waterways. After a long day of activities guests can tune into channel 14 on their in-room TVs and hear a Disney bedtime story, which is perfect for getting the little ones off to sleep.

Property/Local Amenities:
Located less than a mile from Epcot®, which is accessible by foot or ferry, guests are ideally placed to enjoy all the Disney Resorts have to offer. The resort offers an upscale ambience with a number of great attractions including the Ship Shape Health Club with its extensive range of exercise equipment and massage treatments. A variety of boats are available for rent at the resort’s marina. A number of facilities are shared with the Disney Yacht Club resort.
Guests staying at this resort are eligible for the complimentary Disney's Magical Express service, so you don’t need to worry about arranging transfers and can start enjoying your holiday sooner. Coaches pick up guests at Orlando International Airport and drop them off at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels. Guests arriving at the airport between 5am and 10pm will have their bags collected from the baggage claim and delivered straight to their rooms. If guests arrive outside of these hours, then unfortunately this service is not available, and guests must collect their bags from baggage claim and take them on the coach with them.

There are 576 guestrooms at the Disney's Beach Club, each designed with the flavour of a New England seaside resort. White-wicker furniture and a colour scheme of salmon and light green set a perfect ambiance for relaxing and getting a good nights sleep. All rooms provide balconies and most come with great views of the grounds, pools, or lagoon area. Each guestroom comes with tables and chairs, safety deposit boxes, coffeemakers, refrigerators, air conditioning, and separate vanity with dual sinks. Internet access is available upon request. Please note that all guestrooms (including room patios and balconies) are non smoking.


Dining:
Disney’s Beach Club Resort offers a number of dining options to appeal to wide variety of tastes. Guests can choose to dine at the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop which is decorated in bright colours, and offers a good choice of burgers, sandwiches and ice cream. The Cape May Café hosts at breakfast time, Goofy’s Beach Club Bash where guests can dine with Goofy and his friends. Mussels, chicken, clams, barbequed ribs are all on the menu. For a lighter bite head to the Crew’s Cup Lounge which serves snacks and refreshments, or a visit the Beach Club Marketplace where you can pick up a coffee, pastry, soup or salad. Poolside dining is available through the Hurricane Hanna’s Grill, which serves sandwiches, burgers and other snacks.


Recreation:
The large water park, Stormalong Bay, is a huge hit with guests with its water slides, seven spa tubs and quiet pools. There is also a children’s pool and a white sand beach, and the Sandcastle club to keep the little ones entertained. For those who like to keep active, the resort has a fitness centre, tennis courts and a jogging trail which circles the lake. Just one mile away guests will find Disney’s Typhoon lagoon Water Park and the 36 hole Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course. For golf fans, reception can help to arrange a round or two at one of Disney’s tour calibre golf courses.
