What to Expect
If you are looking for a home away from home to spend your fantastic holiday in the sun; then look no further than Disney Area Homes. These holiday homes are self catering and located in a number of area subdivisions in the sunny state of Florida. Rates charged for homes are not dependent on which area they are in, and the holiday home booked may be in any subdivision. The location of your home will be confirmed on arrival at the management company. The majority of the Disney Area Homes are located in the scenic Kissimmee area, and not more than a 15-20 minute drive from the Walt Disney Resorts. Most of the homes have a private swimming pool offering exclusive use, whilst some of the homes offer a communal or plunge pool. Disney Area Homes have proved to be very popular with Irish guests in recent years, so if you have been to the area before you can request a particular subdivision for a surcharge. Kissimmee is located in the heart of Florida just south of Orlando, putting guests in easy reach of all the different activities and attractions on offer. The area offers small town charm just a short hop away from the thrills and spills of the theme rides. There are tranquil beaches, challenging golf courses, outdoor adventures and a range of quality restaurants, bars and shops to keep the whole family entertained on your great Floridian holiday.
Amenity Highlights
Guests can choose from a Standard or Executive home, with a higher grade of fixtures and fittings available in the Executive homes. Welcome packs can be arranged for guests and include groceries which are delivered to the holiday homes prior to arrival. All homes are tastefully decorated and come with an outdoor pool area.
Property/Local Amenities:
There is a lot to see and do in the local area, and the best way to explore is to hire a car. Car rental is easy and can be arranged with providers at the major airports. The Disney Area Homes are available in a variety of areas in Florida, most of which are less than a 20 minute drive from the Disney Resorts.

All bedrooms in the villas have been tastefully decorated and come with comfortable beds.
The master bedroom offers a double or Queen size bed with an ensuite bathroom. Additional bedrooms offer either a double bed or two single beds with at least one bathroom shared between them.

These self catering holiday homes come fully equipped with a range of modern amenities to make self catering an easy and cost effective option. Supermarkets are well stocked and offer a wide range of western style fresh produce and beverages. For nights when you don’t feel like cooking there are a number of restaurants in the area which offer a wide range of exciting dishes to tantalise taste buds.

With so much to see and do, guests will be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing how to spend their holiday. The attractions of Orlando range from the thrills and spills of Walt Disney World®, Universal Orlando Resort®, SeaWorld® Orlando, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens® Africa, to the eccentric charm of smaller regional attractions, and the abundance of good restaurants, bars and shops. For keen golfers there is a great selection of courses which offer a challenging game for all levels of player. For guests who like art, there is a fine art museum in Orlando, which showcases a varied collection of pieces.

Additional Fees:
This hotel charges additional fees should guests wish to have the pool heated. Rates range from $200 per to $400 per week, depending on the pool size and how it heated. Guests need to request pool heating at least 7 days in advance of their stay.
Cleaning:
Disney Area Homes are cleaned before arrival, but no daily cleaning takes place. A mid-stay clean can be organised for an additional charge.
