Dining:
The choice of quality dining at the Bellagio is amazing.

The lakeside Picasso restaurant has a view of the fountain as you enjoy the French cuisine by chef Julian Serrano. In keeping with its name Picasso masterpieces adorn the walls. Picasso is open for dinner Wednesday to Monday.

The Prime Steakhouse is the work of renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Also with a fountain-view, best enjoyed from the garden patio, this steakhouse has a feel of a 1930s speakeasy. Open for dinner only.

Le Cirque is an outpost of New York City French restaurant. The interior design is in keeping with the name; bold colours and a fun feel, dining under the draped-silk ceiling is like being in an ornate jewel-box. Also open for dinner only.

Next to Le Cirque sits Osteria del Circo, the Tuscan restaurant also only open for dinner.

If you fancy something a little different the Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar offers modern and traditional Japanese cuisine. From sushi to beef and seafood dishes. The interior design is a mixture of wood and stone. The entrance to the restaurant uses bronze to give the effect of the yellowtail scales. It opens daily from early evening.

Other restaurants include Jasmine with its Hong Kong cuisine, Shintaro for pan-Asian dishes, Todd English's Olives where celebrity chef Todd English offers a casual dining experience. There's classic American food at FIX. And Café Bellagio is open 24-hours a day.



Recreation:
When not enjoying the vast selection of dining options at the Bellagio, you could try the 89,000-square-foot casino. In there you will find a poker room, slots, table games, and a race and sports book.

The Fountains at Bellagio musical displays are an attraction that brings not just hotel guests but sightseers by the thousands to see the intricately choreographed water routines.

Also, for a surcharge, you can witness Cirque du Soleil's show O. Based in a 1.5-million-gallon pool, the show uses a stage that rises from the water.

The Bellagio has its own Gallery of Fine Art that shows works by famous artists. The works of art are generally on loan from international museums. The collection changes but featured artists have included Monet and Andy Warhol.

Night time sees the opening of The Bank nightclub where guests can party on the patio tables and enjoy the lake views with the DJ accompaniment.

Take a walk round the 9.5-acre Mediterranean garden, or take a dip in the five heated pools. Cabanas are available to rent and come with TVs, phones, refrigerators, sinks, ceiling fans, and misting systems.

Treat yourself at the Spa & Salon, which will incur a surcharge. The large (6,000-square-foot) fitness centre is fully up to date with the latest gym equipment, free weights and even plasma TVs.

And the Bellagio's ideal location means you are just a few miles away from the Bali Hai Golf Club, boasting 18-hole courses. And at just 23 miles away you can make a day of visiting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
