On other bus tours, you leave your tour guide behind when you "hop off" the bus. On this tour, your tour guide stays with you during the tour, hopping off at each stop to show you the attractions in depth. This format is more intimate, so you get to know your tour guide during the tour, asking questions is easier, and you really get a feel for New York City. The other benefit is that your bus waits for you at each stop, so you don't end up on a street corner waiting for the next bus to arrive.
You'll see New York City's major sites on this tour, including Times Square, the World Trade Center Site, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Central Park and Strawberry Fields. What an excellent trip - guide was very knowledgeable and we were taken to all the sights over NYC. Would have liked to have gone into see 9/11 memorial but you had to have tickets (free) Maybe the tour company could acquire some on behalf of their guests - just a thought. Well recommended and a must if your stay in NYC is short.

We went on this tour on 29th dec 2011, it is a must do. Myself, my husband, daughter Abby 11, and son Nathan 9, enjoyed this tour so much. Edwin was a fantastic tour guide with an outstanding knowledge of New York that interested both older and younger guests. He took the time to speak to each guest in his group and give them answers to any questions they had even about plans they had on other days, non-tour related. The tour is self was well planned with so many things to see and do we fit more in on this tour than we did in the next 3 days on the hop on hop off bus. I can't recommend this tour enough. It made our holiday and we were lucky to have Edwin as a bonus, although my son says he was called Edward. I do hope I wasn't calling him by the wrong name all day and if so he was polite and answered me with a smile anyway. Thanks for a fantastic first look at New York.
Loved the trip. I had been on one before with another company but had to do everything myself....not much commentary. But this trip was so different. I felt safe even though the streets were packed with people. The bus driver was new that day but took us a way without too much traffic. All were very knowledgeable and had such interesting remarks and facts you probably haven't heard before. Excellent service. I'd go back for other trips with them in a heartbeat!
