Explore the universe at Kennedy Space Center on this day trip from Orlando. Enjoy unlimited access to many Visitor Complex exhibits such as IMAX films, Rocket Garden and Apollo/Saturn V Center. Your ultimate experience will also include a KSC Up-Close guided tour with interior views of the Vehicle Assembly Building, as well as dining with a member of NASA's Astronaut Corps - an experience the whole family will enjoy! This tour is likely to sell out weeks in advance, so be sure to book ahead of time.

After pickup from your selected location, it's just a 45-minute drive by bus from Orlando to the Kennedy Space Center. When you arrive, embark on a space adventure from the Visitor Complex as you explore the many world-renowned exhibits.

With your admission ticket, enjoy an IMAX movie screening of Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D -- presented and narrated by Tom Hanks -- or Space Station 3D, which will take you on a virtual trip to the International Space Station. Also on IMAX 3D is the powerful story of the Hubble Space Telescope.

Visit the Rocket Garden to see the Redstone, Atlas and Titan rockets that first put NASA astronauts into space. Or, climb aboard Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules - and experience the cramped quarters America's astronaut pioneers endured.

Short of becoming an astronaut, there's no better way to catch a glimpse of Kennedy Space Center than on a self-guided tour, included with admission. With NASA buses departing every 15 minutes from the Visitor Complex, you can get off the bus and spend as much time as desired at each location.

First, take a NASA bus for a drive-by view of the space shuttle launch pad and experience the historic Apollo 8 send-off. Then, head to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you'll witness Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon. Here, walk under a massive Saturn V rocket and marvel at its 363-foot (110-meter) height.

Your ultimate experience also includes lunch with a veteran member of NASA's Astronaut Corps - talk with an astronaut and get an authentic autograph!

Additionally, you'll receive a guided Kennedy Space Center Up-Close tour of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), led by a trained space expert. Visit inside to see firsthand where space vehicles were built, and walk along the edge of the Transfer Aisle as you learn about NASA's latest space exploration program - Space Launch System (SLS).

Your guide will also take you to the NASA Causeway, A/B Camera Stop and back to the Apollo/Saturn V Center before return coach transport to your Orlando hotel.

  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking
  • Tickets to view a launch are not included with this tour and must be purchased separately
  • Please note: This tour does include enough time to visit the Astronaut Hall of Fame; if you wish to come back to the Kennedy Space Center to visit the Hall of Fame you can do so within 7 consecutive days and only pay for transportation, which is $55 per person and payable direct

Transportation was worth it. Do the shuttle sim for sure even if you cant see all of visitor center. Lunch with astro well worth it (good food, presentation, Q/A). Atlantis to be displayed late summer. Bus tour of launch sites, inside VAB, and saturn rocket (skip saturn show) was the best part.

The bus driver / tour guide is very experienced and suggested good route to us, so we can get more things covered with the limited time. You actually need to go for a 2 days trip or 2 separate visits in order to see the major attractions. It was great to meet and have photos with the astronaut, Tom Jones, the only astronaut that had been on 4 space missions.

We went on the Ultimate Space Tour which was fantastic. It included lunch with an astronaut. The buffet lunch was really good and Gerry Carr the astronaut was very interesting. We could have easily spent more time at the Kennedy Space Centre as there was so much to see. I would really recommend this

Great experience more than I expected with the Astronout lunch. The guided tour of the VAB and launch pad was very impressive. Our guide was very knowlegable. I was impressed with information on shuttle banners and the stored remains of the Columbia to remind all working on each mission how important it is to get it right every time. Finalising this with the Saturn 5 display was topping on the cake. We also had an opportunity to view the Alantis shuttle prior to the extensive work to place it on display. It is very impressive to see an actual orbiter that has been in space many times.

The only conn if I need to talk about one is that one day is not enough to do the tour comming from Orlando and leaving a 5pm. Perhaps an earlier start and later close would help.

Brilliant trip. unexpected bonus when our tour took us into the vehicle assembly building for the first time in 40 plus years. This was a test run for a tour they hope to run latter if NASA approve. Only down to day was some concern re experience of bus driver eg park in wrong place , tickets not ready so time wasted but all round a great trip. lunch with astronaut was also fantastic. Drop off at end of day was painful and add.ed hour and a half to the day
