This Boston Walking Tour is a trek along the Freedom Trail is a walk through Boston's past. Wind your way back into history and follow the trail traveled by the Patriots in their fight for independence. Visualize the scenes and listen to the echo of Patriots in their struggle to break away from British rule.

As you walk the Freedom Trail, you'll discover many of the sites that played an important role in the American Revolution. You'll be at the actual sites where historic events took place. Find out which government building nearly went to Chicago, and which historic building was used as a British riding school. And, which U.S. president once defended British soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre?

Every step you take on the Footsteps to Freedom walking tour gives you insight into Boston's colonial times. Some of the historic sites on this photographic journey are the Shaw Memorial, Park Street Church, Old Granary Burying Ground, King's Chapel, Old City Hall, Old Corner Bookstore, Old State House, Boston Massacre site and Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's house, and Old North Church.

Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgable. She took us around the key parts of the Freedom trail and gave us interesting anecdotes for each stop. The tour was more focussed on those wanting to take pictures (which wasn't myself and my travel companion) but nonetheless it was enjoyable.

even though it was raining all day we had a truly delightful experience. Saba our guide was very informative and gave great tips on taking the best photos. We learnt such a lot on this tour and our guilde was brilliant.

The guide was good, but it was more for photographers instead of history buffs like myself.

As always, Viator was great. Our guide was terrific, and gave us some great picture taking tips in Boston. I will always turn to Viator for my vacation tour guide needs. Thank you!

I felt like we could have done this tour alone and been just as well off. Our guide was not very personable and could not answer questions outside her normal "script". She did not follow the "Freedom Trail" per se and took "short cuts" several times. We were very disappointed in the tour and would not recommend it to anyone traveling to Boston.
